Terms & Conditions - Aqua Glaze Telford
By booking any service with Aqua Glaze (family-run exterior cleaning specialists covering all TF postcodes), you agree to the following terms. These keep everything fair, safe and professional for everyone.
1. Regular Window Cleaning - Frequency & Commitment
- We clean on reliable 4-weekly or 8-weekly rounds
- New customers agree to a minimum of 3 cleans
- Cancellation before 3 cleans are completed means the remaining balance is still payable
- We do not offer one-off or "summer-only" window cleans
2. Property Access & Safety
- We text the evening before your scheduled clean
- Gates, garages and driveways must be unlocked and clear
- We will never climb over fences, move heavy obstacles or go through the house with equipment
- If safe access is not possible on the day, 50% of the clean fee may still be charged
3. Payment Terms
- Payment due within 3 days of completion
- Preferred method: secure online card payment
- Bank transfer & cash accepted - no cheques
- Late payment may lead to suspended service and industry blacklisting
- Persistent non-payment may be pursued through the small claims court
4. Cancellations & Short-Notice Changes
- Cancellations require minimum 24 hours notice
- Two short-notice cancellations in a row = £15 administration fee
- Repeated poor cancellation reasons may result in permanent removal from our round
5. Service-Specific Policies
Window Cleaning (Hot Water-Fed Pole)
- 100% purified hot water system - streak-free every time
- Frames, sills & doors included as standard
- Open windows may allow minor water inside - we are not liable
- Unhappy with your clean? Contact us within 24 hours for a free re-clean
Gutter Clearing, Roof Cleaning & Jet Washing
- Deposits required on larger jobs (e.g. roof cleaning)
- We are not liable for pre-existing loose tiles or deep permanent stains
- Customer must provide power supply for gutter vac
6. Safety, Behaviour & Property Condition
- Excessive animal waste or unsafe gardens may incur extra charges or refusal of service
- Any abuse or aggression towards our team = immediate termination + full charge
7. Website Content & Copyright Protection
All text, images and design on aquaglazeexteriorcleaning.co.uk are copyright protected. We actively monitor for plagiarism and will issue DMCA takedowns and legal claims if copied.
8. Weather Policy
- In heavy rain, high winds (>30mph) or freezing temperatures, we may postpone your clean for safety and quality reasons
- We will text you as early as possible and rebook at the earliest safe opportunity - no charge for weather postponements
- Light rain does not affect water-fed pole cleaning - we work in drizzle every day!
9. Satisfaction Guarantee
- We're proud of our 4.9★ rating - if you're ever unhappy with any part of a clean, let us know within 24 hours
- We'll return and re-clean the affected areas free of charge, no questions asked
- After 24 hours we assume you're happy and the job is complete
10. Damage & Liability
- We carry £5 million public liability insurance
- We are not responsible for pre-existing damage (loose tiles, cracked render, worn seals, etc.), wear and tear, or water entering through open/faulty windows
- Any concerns must be reported within 24 hours with photos
11. Privacy & Data Protection (GDPR)
- We only store your name, address, phone number and service notes - nothing else
- Your data is never shared or sold - used only to provide and improve our service
- You can request deletion of your data at any time
12. Price Adjustments & Quotations
- All quotes are valid for 7 days
- Prices may increase annually (usually January) in line with costs
- We reserve the right to adjust pricing if property access or condition significantly changes
13. Referral Reward
- Refer a friend or neighbour who signs up for regular cleaning and you both get £10 off your next clean!
- Unlimited referrals - the more you recommend, the more you save
14. Final Notes
We reserve the right to refuse or end service if conditions are unsafe or terms are repeatedly broken.
